Adrian Lewis Peterson is an American football running back for the Minnesota Vikings of the National Football League (NFL). He was born in Palestine, Texas on March 21, 1985.
He started career from University of Oklahoma from 2004 – 2006. During that time he broke several NCAA freshman rushing records for 1,925 yards. In total competitions, he made incredible performance although he finished second to USC quarterback Matt Leinart in the Heisman Trophy voting. He was a finalist for the Doak Walker Award and the first Oklahoma freshman recognized as a First-Team Associated Press All-American.
On January 15, 2007, he entered the 2007 NFL Draft to start his professional career and was selected by the Minnesota Vikings on April 28, 2007 and he was signed by the Vikings on July 29, 2007. His contract was worth US$ 40.5 million over six years, with $17 million guaranteed.

Peterson won the 2008 NFL Pro Bowl MVP award with 16 carries for 129 yards rushing along with 2 touchdowns on February 10, 2008. He was the first rookie since Marshall Faulk in 1994 to win the Pro Bowl MVP award. Peterson and Faulk are the only NFL players to win both the NFL Pro Bowl MVP and Rookie of the Year awards in the same year at least till date.

Abby Wambach is a 2012 FIFA World Player of the Year. She is an American professional soccer player, coach, two-time Olympic gold medalist. Currently, she plays for Western New York Flash in the National Women’s Soccer League and for the United States women’s national soccer team.
Since 2003, Abby Wambach became a regular player on the U.S. women’s national soccer team. Her position is as a forward. Among all players, she currently stands as the highest all-time goal scorer for the national team and holds the world record for international goals for both female and male soccer players with 167 goals (as of April 14, 2014).
Abby Wambach participated in three FIFA Women’s World Cup tournaments: 2003 in the United States, 2007 in China and 2011 in Germany. As well as two Olympics tournaments: 2004 in Athens and 2012 in London. She played in 29 matches and scored 22 goals at these five international tournaments.

Abby Wambach is known for scoring goals on diving headers, a technique she began honing as a youth in her hometown of Rochester, New York. The most memorable of her diving header goals occurred in the 122nd minute of the 2011 FIFA Women’s World Cup quarterfinal match against Brazil. She equalized the scored in stoppage time helping the Americans to eventually progress to the championship final against Japan after defeating Brazil in penalty kicks. Her last-minute goal set a new record for latest goal ever scored in a match and was awarded ESPN’s 2011 ESPY Award for Best Play of the Year.
Following Abby Wambach performance at the 2011 World Cup, she was awarded the tournament’s Bronze Boot and Silver Ball and the Associated Press named her Athlete of the Year, she became the first individual soccer player ever — man or woman — to receive the award. July 20 was named “Abby Wambach Day” in Rochester and she was given a key to the city.
Being awarded the 2012 FIFA World Player of the Year, she became the first American woman to win the award in ten years.

Moreover, people will take chance – usually – selling souvenirs, merchandize of the world cup, and surely many café, restaurants and hotels will be filled up by the guests.
The cities never sleep, the world cup light them up as if they don’t want to lose the time even a single minute. In particular in Rio de Janeiro, capital city of “Samba national team”, it has Estádio do Maracanã stadium, the biggest stadium in Brazil with 76,935 capacities that will host the world cup’s final.
As final words, people hope that the forthcoming world cup will halt many political issues of each country. Hugging the differences, dissolve the colors. The teams are coming for one mission for one cup. Fight till your last moment, stand till the last event, keep fighting to be unbeaten but outside the field we are brothers.
